Since 1973, Tim Hinton has been professionally recognized nationally. A God given gift for bringing out the warmth and depth in his paintings is what Tim Hinton calls his talent. His ability to capture an ordinary moment, and make it an extraordinary one has enchanted critics and art fans for many years.  

His work has been exhibited at the Museum of African Art, Smithsonian, Kennedy Center, U.S. Navy's Art Museum (permanent collection), the Frederick Douglas Home in Washington, DC,  Howard University, Morgan State University, University of Maryland, The Pentagon Chesapeake Group Galleries Art Expo in New York, the October Gallery, Osceola Cultural Center, City of Las Vegas Cultural Center and many private showings.
